Born and raised in North Carolina, I’ve always known that I was meant to sell words for a living. That’s why I earned my B.A. in communications from UNC Chapel Hill with a focus on writing for the screen and stage. As soon as I graduated college, I moved out to Los Angeles, and I’ve been moving around ever since, having now (for the time being) settled in Atlanta, where I met my wife.

In my professional career, I’ve done a bit of everything. For three years, I worked in a 100% commission sales role with Xerox before finally finding a way to turn writing into a professional career. Since 2015, that’s been my focus, and I’ve done so in a variety of ways. From entertainment blogs to SEO writing, writing radio commercials, working with some of the top corporations as a consultant, to doing Long Form Advertising on social media, I’ve been fortunate enough to make a living through writing.
